1. How do I know if my car service has arrived?
A: At the phone number your provide during your booking, you will receive a text message once your driver has arrived.
2. How do I identify and meet my driver?
A: The driver’s phone number and contact information will be provided to you in a text message sent as soon as the driver arrives.
3. What if I can't find my driver?
A: You can call the driver at his phone number sent to your cell phone. In the event you can't reach driver you can always call our 24/7 dispatch to help resolve the issue at (800) 453 4099.
4. What if my flight is early, late, delayed, or changes gates?
A: At Allstate, we check your flight status repeatedly to make sure our drivers know your updated arrival information and respond accordingly. With the flight number you provide at the time of booking, we track your flight to make sure we are waiting at the right terminal at the right time for a seamless pickup.
5. I’m arriving at the airport and it may take some time to get my bags and clear customs. Is any waiting time included in my reservation? Is “waiting time” ever charged?
A: We check the status of your flight so we time our dispatches accordingly. We also have an option such that we can dispatch a car a certain amount of minutes after you land so that way you will not incur any wait time. If you know you will have a long customs or other wait, be sure to let us know so we can provide this option to you. Once our driver arrives at the terminal, you are given a 15 minute grace period before you are charged for waiting time.
6. What is the cancellation policy?
A: If you are in the borough of Manhattan, you can cancel up to 10 minutes before your scheduled ride. If you are in the other 4 boroughs, you can cancel up to 15 minutes before your scheduled ride. If you are outside of the 5 boroughs, you can cancel up to 2 hours before your scheduled ride.
7. What types of vehicles do you have?
A: We offer a range of vehicles from luxury sedans, town cars, SUVs, limousines, vans, and mini buses. Please check our “fleet” page to see our full vehicle offerings.
8. When does my credit card get charged for the service? Can I pay cash to the driver?
A: Your Credit Card is charged right after the trip is completed. Unfortunately we only process trip payments by card, and the driver cannot accept cash for the trip payment.
9. What are your surcharges?
We have a congestion surcharge of $2.75 for all rides entering or leaving the borough of Manhattan. We also have a black car fund surcharge of 2.5% of the base price which goes directly to our drivers. Finally, all rides are applicable to 8.875% NY State sales tax. Please note that all bridge and tunnel tolls are not included in your base price.
10. What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
11. What are your hourly rates?
A: For our sedans the hourly rate is $55, and for our SUVs the hourly rate is $75. For our vans and minibuses, please call to inquire about hourly pricing.
12. How much should I tip my chauffeur?
A: The chauffeur tip is 100% up to the passenger. At this time, we are unable to process driver tips on your credit card, thus all tips must be in cash.
